Q: Where is the band located?
A: Sunset Eve is based in Central Florida. We are available to travel nationwide.

Q: How many members are in Sunset Eve?
A: We usually perform as a six piece. Our band includes bass, drums, guitar, keyboards, female vocalist, percussion Several members double on other instruments. All sing lead and harmony. On any given show we bring at least two sound/light techs. Some shows we also bring two stage hands. For larger events we can add additional instruments, dancers, DJ, Clowns and more.

Q: What type of music do you play?
A: Sunset Eve offers high energy top 40, oldies, genuine country with steel guitar, R&B, Dance,60's,70's,80's,90's, current and good time party music. Female Lead vocals, Drums, Percussion, Steel Guitar, Bass, Lead guitar, Keyboards, acoustic guitar and all sing with 3- 6 part harmony.

Q: What type of events are you available for?
A: We perform for conventions, corporate parties, weddings, theme parties, fundraisers, outdoor festivals and any other reason you may need a band.

Q: How long do you play and how many breaks do you take?
A: Most parties are four hours in which we will generally take four twenty minute breaks. During our breaks we provide backround CD music at your request. The group can be contracted to perform continuous as well.

Q: Can you provide music for a ceremony and/or cocktail hour?
A: Our pianist can provide a variety of classical and new age music as well as traditional wedding music for ceremonies, and jazz and Latin standards for the cocktail hour.

Q: How do you control the volume?
A: We are experts at keeping the volume just right. During dinner we play at a volume that allows your guests to carry on conversations easily. After dinner we increase the energy just enough to get the crowd dancing. We use a state-of-the-art sound system that provides the highest quality sound, and our sound tech can raise or lower the volume with the touch of a button.

Q: What are the advantages of using a live band?
A: Live music creates energy and excitement that simply cannot be duplicated with recorded music. We create a mood that gets the crowd dancing and makes the party one to remember!

Q: Will you learn a special request?
A: We can learn one or two as long as you provide us with a tape or CD no later than six weeks prior to the date of your party.

Q: Is it possible to view the band?
A: Arrangements can be made to come to a performance or rehearsal and view the band.

Q: Do I need to meet with the band coordinator, MC?
A: Most planning can be done over the phone and via e-mail and fax.

Q: How will you handle the flow of events, introductions and special dances?
A: You can use our Master of Ceremonies Form to help specify how the events will be handled. All members of Sunset Eve are experienced working with event coordinators, catering staff, photographers, and other vendors so you are ensured the event will run smoothly. Q: I've decided that I want Sunset Eve as my band. What happens next?
A: We send you our entertainment agreement which clearly spells out the terms and conditions. Your deposit (usually 25% of the base charge) is due along with the signed agreement.
